There are two main areas of research for Family history, first to find out whom your ancestors are, and secondly to find out how they lived and what their community was like. 

Several members of the Local History Group have significant experience of both aspects of this research and other members of the society benefit greatly from this when commencing their own research. 

However, our real strength is the wide range of knowledge of the people and activities connected with Clevedon. If we have the information at hand to answer your questions we will be delighted to do so or we will put you in touch with the right person. But, unfortunately, we no longer have the resources necessary to conduct detailed and time-consuming research on your behalf so please do not send these to us.
